This policy covers the information Nowra Fresh Fish & Meat Market collects through this website, what we do with it, and how to ask us about it. It is written to cover what the website actually does and nothing else.

What we collect, and only when you give it to us
There are two forms on this website and they are the only places it asks you for anything.
- Signing up for weekly specials. Your name and your email address.
- The contact form. Your name, your email address, your phone number and whatever you write in the message.
We use each of those for the reason you gave it: to send you the weekly specials, or to answer your enquiry. Nothing on this site asks you for payment details, and you do not need an account to use it.
The contact form sends what you typed to us as an email, through the email delivery service we use to send it, and it stays in our email.
Signing up for the weekly specials works differently, because the specials are sent as a proper mailing rather than one email at a time. Your name and email address go into the email marketing programme we use to send them (Mailchimp, which stores them in the United States), and they are held there so you get each week’s list. If that programme cannot be reached at the moment you sign up, your details wait on this website until it can, and are then deleted from here. That programme is the only place your details are kept. We do not sell them, we do not swap them, and we do not hand them to anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as we need them for the reason you gave them to us, and we remove them when we no longer do. If you unsubscribe from the weekly specials, your email address stays on the list marked as unsubscribed, so that you are never sent them again.
Stopping the weekly specials
Every weekly specials email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom of it. Click that link and you come straight off the list. It is instant, it is the only step, and there is no need to ring us or send us an email about it.
Spam protection on the forms
Both forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which is what stops them being used by spam robots. It checks information about your browser and how you interact with the page, and sends it to Cloudflare. Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy applies to that.
Analytics and advertising
This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, and Google Ads to measure whether our advertising leads to calls and enquiries, and to show our ads to people who have visited this site before. Both are covered by Google’s Privacy Policy. Nothing you type into the forms is sent to Google. It carries no social media tracking pixels. We do not sell anything about you to anyone, and we do not use your details for anything other than the reason you gave them to us.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own. Google Analytics, Google Ads and the map showing where we are set their own, and those are covered by the Google policy linked above. The spam check on the forms is covered by the Cloudflare policy linked above.
Seeing what we hold, or correcting it
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring (02) 4429 1900 or email sales@nowrafresh.com and tell us what you need.
If you are not happy with how we handled it
Tell us first, using the contact details above, and we will do what we can. If you are still not satisfied you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or what we do with it changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too.
